We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic and vibrant music teacher who will embrace professional development opportunities, has the ability to work as part of a team, has the students’ progress and welfare as a top priority, as well as this, flexible in their approach.
This role requires an energetic and dedicated practitioner, who can make a significant contribution to our school community by engaging, enthusing, and challenging staff and students to achieve their very best in the subject. You will have excellent subject knowledge and be well-informed on current educational developments and initiatives. You would be joining a team of colleagues who are passionate about ensuring that all pupils enjoy the subject and are focused on securing the best outcomes for our students. We work collaboratively to share good practice, both within the department and across the school.
You will be expected to:
- Create and maintain an environment, and a code of behaviour that promotes and secures good teaching, effective learning, and high standards of achievement.
- Develop and apply a range of effective learning and teaching strategies to raise the achievement of students, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of good practice in Learning and Teaching techniques.
- Deliver subject enrichment activities for learners to consolidate and promote learning in the subject.
- To maintain good working relationships with colleagues, students, parents/carers, governors, and the community to ensure all communication is consistent with the school's ethos.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
