Job description

Are you passionate about music and eager to inspire the next generation of musicians? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and talented Music Teacher to join our team in Exmouth. If you have a love for teaching and a commitment to nurturing young minds, we want to hear from you!

Position: Music Teacher
Location: Exmouth, Devon
Start Date: Immediate/As Soon As Possible
Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic music lessons to students across various age groups.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and musical expression.
  • Prepare students for performances, exams, and other musical events.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to support student development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of music theory, instruments, and vocal techniques.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for music and a desire to share this with students.
  • Previous experience teaching music is desirable, but we welcome applications from newly qualified teachers as well.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
