Music Teacher Vacancy

Location: Chorley, Lancashire

Are you passionate about music and eager to inspire the next generation of musicians? We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our dynamic team in Chorley.

Position: Music Teacher

Type: Full-Time
Start Date: 2nd September
Salary: MPS and UPS
Closing Date for Applications: 22nd August

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality music lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Develop engaging and creative curriculum materials that inspire and challenge students.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
  • Organize and lead school music events, concerts, and performances.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience within the department and school.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current developments in music and education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Music or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching music at secondary school level is preferred.
  • Proficiency in playing and teaching a range of musical instruments.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A passion for music and a commitment to student success.
