We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Music Teacher to deliver engaging and effective music lessons. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching various music disciplines, preparing students for performances and exams, and contributing to the overall development of our vibrant music community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver comprehensive music lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
  • Teach a range of music subjects, including theory, instrumental practice, and vocal training.
  • Prepare students for recitals, concerts, competitions, and exams.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and events.
  • Provide individual support and feedback to help students achieve their musical potential.
  • Stay current with the latest music education techniques and trends.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Music or Music Education.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching music in a school or academy setting.
  • Proficiency in one or more musical instruments and vocal training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
