Music Programme Manager – Full Time, Permanent Position

Location: Northampton
Start Date: February 2025
Pay: £145pd 
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant school in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment where your contributions will directly impact the educational experience of students.

About the Role: This full-time, position has the opportunity to go permanent and will commence in February 2025, with the possibility of some remote working by prior agreement. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education across various year groups, as well as participating in final rehearsals and concerts/services (approximately 15 events per year) organised by the trust. Attendance at these events is required, with time off in lieu arranged.

As part of the role, you will also travel to various concert venues and DRET schools, so access to transport or a vehicle is essential. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference within the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective music lessons to students.
  • Prepare students for performances and concerts.
  • Collaborate with other music staff and contribute to the DRET Music Programme.
  • Attend final rehearsals and concerts/services (approximately 15 per year), with time off in lieu.
  • Participate in the wider school life and extra-curricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
