Job description

About Us:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate tutor to join our team. We work alongside Schools and Local Authorities in the Milton Keynes area.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to students' individual needs.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in your subject area.
  • Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support students with homework, exam preparation, and academic challenges.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background and subject knowledge (specific subjects can be mentioned).
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, encouraging, and able to motivate students.
  • Flexible and adaptable to different learning needs.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
