Job description

Teaching Personnel is working with a school based on the east side of Birmingham who are looking for a Spanish teacher to join their team

Location: Birmingham

Contract: Full-time

About the Role: We are currently seeking qualified MFL Teachers who specialise in Spanish and/or French. 

Requirements -

  • QTS is desirable - ECT's welcome!
  • Degree educated as a minimum
  • Ability to deliver Spanish up to KS4
  • Ability to manage a classroom

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that cater to the diverse abilities of students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to love learning and respect cultural differences.
  • Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback to help them improve their language skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and materials.
  • Participate in and contribute to the school's extracurricular programs including language clubs and cultural exchange activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
