Job description

Position: Teacher of MFL

Location: Northampton

Are you a dedicated and passionate teaching of languages looking for a new position this academic year? Are you looking for a more flexible, work-life balance? Look no further! Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic MFL Cover Teachers to work in schools across Northampton.

The role will require you to deliver lessons from a prepared plan already designed by the permanent class teacher, ensuring all students are engaged. The lessons will vary from different ages and have all types of skill sets so it is important that you’re able to adapt to these changes affectively to ensure understanding across the board in your lessons

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging MFL lessons (French, Spanish, German, etc.) across various key stages
  • Adapt to different classroom settings and school environments
  • Follow lesson plans and ensure a positive learning atmosphere
  • Inspire students to develop language skills and cultural awareness

Who we are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
  • Strong subject knowledge in one or more foreign languages (French, Spanish, German, etc)
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for teaching
  • Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and experienced educators welcome

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
