Exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher seeking a new opportunity from September 2024!


Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School in the Andover area, seeking a Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2024.

The school is an SEN school catering for Secondary aged pupils with Autism and associated mental health needs. We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic teacher who is able to engage the pupils in STEM subjects. You will be joining a small department and will have the freedom to develop schemes of work suitable for your class. 

This is a full time teaching role, with time allocated for PPA. This is a temporary role for the Autumn Term, however has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status in the UK (NQT's and comparable Overseas teacher training will be considered)
  • Experience teaching Maths up to GCSE Level
  • Understanding of Functional Skills curriculum (not all pupils will be accessing GCSE levels)
  • Resilience and Confidence dealing with challenging behaviour
  • The ability to differentiate learning to pupils with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
