Maths Cover Supervisor Secondary

Location: England, Greater London, Wandsworth

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time hours

Salary: £130 - £165 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supervising secondary school students during maths lessons
  • Implementing lesson plans provided by classroom teachers
  • Assisting students with understanding mathematical concepts
  • Maintaining discipline and creating a positive learning environment
  • Providing feedback to classroom teachers on student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Experience working with secondary school students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively

Education:

Degree in Mathematics or related field

Experience:

Experience working with secondary school students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain discipline in a classroom setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE)
  • Previous experience as a cover supervisor

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a secondary school setting, following the school term calendar. The successful candidate will work full-time hours and be responsible for supervising students during maths lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
