Job description

Tutors urgently needed for young people in Derbyshire.

We are looking for several tutors to work across the whole of Derbyshire to provide one to one tuition to children out of education. This tuition takes place in the young person’s home with another adult present.

You will be required to plan, prepare, and deliver Maths and English lessons for primary aged students. As these young people have been out of education, they may not be learning at their actual year group level.

You will be provided with the platforms to record attendance, submit feedback, provide assessments, and submit timesheets.

Each young person receives a minimum of 2 hours tuition a day, 5 days a week.

The pay is hourly and is between £20-£25 per hour dependent on experience.

You do not need to have QTS to be successful however, experience is extremely beneficial planning and preparing Maths and English lessons for high level GCSE.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
