Makaton Trained Tutor

Job Duties:

• Deliver tutoring sessions to students using Makaton
• Create engaging and interactive learning materials
• Adapt learning based on individual needs
• Assess and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with other stakeholders

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

• Valid Makaton certification
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Experience teaching or tutoring
• Experience working with SEN pupils
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Thorough understanding of Makaton communication system
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Strong organisational and time management skills
