Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team starting in October 2024. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of our students, including those with special educational needs (SEN). You will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment, helping to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students, particularly those with SEN.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting materials to meet individual learning needs.
- Support classroom management and the implementation of positive behavior strategies.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment, promoting student independence and self-confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within a primary or secondary school setting.
- A strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
- Experience supporting students with SEN is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work well as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
