Level 3 Teaching Assistants Needed in Newcastle Upon Tyne

Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Newcastle Upon Tyne? Teaching Personnel is looking for passionate TAs to support local schools and help students thrive.

Role: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Type: Flexible, Temporary
Pay: Competitive, paid weekly

What You’ll Do:

  • Support teachers in the classroom with day-to-day activities.
  • Work one-on-one or with small groups of students to help them reach their potential.
  • Assist with lesson planning and classroom prep.
  • Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Help create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for helping students succeed.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to get one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
