Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Level 3 Teaching Assistant opportunities in West London!

Do you have a level 3 teaching assistant qualification? Are you available for work and live in the West London area? Join Teaching Personnel today to become part of the West London school communities and have the opportunity to work in a range of fantastic Primary, Secondary, SEN and Catholic schools.

Teaching Personnel offer all of their candidates a specialist consultant who supports you through the registration process as well as to find a role, a flexible working schedule, school based working hours from 8:30am until 3:30pm and also the opportunity to commit to a permanent position at a school if one is made available.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Assisting with small group and one-on-one sessions to reinforce learning and address individual student needs
  • Some roles may include supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and changing activities to meet their unique requirements
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Assisting with the preparation of resources and classroom organization
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress and providing feedback to the class teacher

What we look for:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification e.g. CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Knowledge and understanding of different SEN needs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience and passion for supporting children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
