Level 2 Teaching Assistant Secondary - September Start
Location:
England, Greater London, Clapham
Salary:
£85 - £110 Per day
Job Duties:
- Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons
- Assisting with the preparation of learning materials
- Providing one-to-one support for students with additional learning needs
- Supervising students during class and break times
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Required Qualifications:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Education:
Minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
- Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Working Conditions:
- Full-Time position working during school hours
- Term-time only with school holidays off
- Working closely with students and teachers in a classroom environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
