Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
£20,702.83 Per annum
East of England, Cambridgeshire, Wisbech
Start date from: January 2025
32.5 hours per week during term time
Qualifications: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher
This school based in the Wisbech area are looking for a full time teaching assistant to join their ambitious staffing team. This Ofsted rated good school, proud of the multi-cultrural community they are within, want educators who are equally as committed to supporting the whole person and not just their academic success.
The Role;
- Supporting the class teacher in implementing learning activities
- Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials
- Providing one-to-one support to students as needed
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Experience and skills;
- Understanding of child development and learning processes
- Passion for education
- Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Able to use initiative and support the class teacher and pupils as needed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
