Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:

• Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons
• Assisting with the preparation of learning materials
• Helping to create a positive learning environment for students
• Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs
• Supervising students during class activities and break times

Required Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS check

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working in a school or educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of child development and learning processes
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Patience and empathy towards students

Preferred Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

• Work in a school environment
• Full-time hours with occasional overtime
• Interacting with students, teachers, and parents
