About this role: For KS2 through KS4, this school is seeking a full-time teaching assistant who has experience with working with student with extra support within the classroom. For the students to reach their greatest potential within the school, you are expected to work with the class teacher to ensure the student is receiving the support needed within the class and to promote the student’s independence and encourage social inclusion with the class. It is required of candidates to organise and facilitate a stimulating and motivating learning environment for the students. You will work with a welcoming, close-knit department that values collaboration and co-plans assignments to guarantee best practices and uniformity in all classrooms.

A successful candidate for this position will have experience in with working with student in need of extra support within the classroom. Finally, candidates should be familiar with the current curriculum and understand what kind of support the students will need before class to ensure that they meet their goals for the term.  and an ability to implement behavioural and emotional management with the child, demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher and increase achievement of all pupils including, where appropriate, those with special educational needs and disabilities. Candidates should also be confident in their ability to teach the material to the student and be able to find resources to help the student to feel a sense of achievement ahead of time for various year groups. Finally, candidates should be familiar with the current curriculum and understand what kind of support the students will need before class to ensure that they meet their goals for the term.
