Learning Support Practitioner

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Learning Support Practitioner at an outstanding school based in Huddersfield to support the learning of children with complex needs ages 5-19.
- Full-time (Mon-Fri 8:30am-15:30pm)
- SEN-based school
- Supporting to pupils with a range of needs
The role:
- To work with individuals and small groups of children delivering interventions
- Working closely with the teacher, liaising with the teacher to support a range of needs
- To provide personal and intimate care to students where necessary
- seek from students the highest standard of behaviour and discipline both within and outside the school
- To develop a friendly and trusting relationship with students
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
- Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
- Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
- Minimum of three months UK residency

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
