Position: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Northampton

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for highly motivated Learning Support Assistants who feel passionate about inspiring, nurturing, and guiding students into reaching their very best potential within their learning to support schools in and around the central Northampton area the area.

The Role

The suitable candidate will be expected to provide in-class support for those that need extra guidance through one-to-ones and group sessions to help ensure they complete their work and have a good understanding of each subject. You’ll be supporting a variety of children from KS3 – KS5.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll also be working closely with Teachers to carefully decide which students do need this guidance, to help enhance their educational experience through creating a positive and productive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Any teaching qualifications or experience in teaching would be ideal but are not necessary
  • An Enhanced Child only DBS
  • An overseas police clearance
  • A patient and caring nature
  • Enthusiasm for teaching, and helping students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
