The school caters for children aged between 11-18 years old with a range of special educational needs including Moderate, Severe and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities, and Autistic Spectrum Disorders. The school prides itself on creating a safe, happy, and healthy learning environment where pupils can thrive. In this role, you will provide support to pupils in class and during breaks/lunchtime. Some 1:1 support may be required, but the primary responsibility is to provide general support. Personal care assistance may also be needed for some pupils.
We welcome a diverse range of applicants for these positions, including those with experience as an SEN support assistant, graduates seeking experience in specialist provision, and individuals with previous experience as a support/care worker.
