Location: Manchester
Contract Type: Full-time, with the potential for a permanent position
Start Date: Immediate

Teaching Personnel is on the lookout for a committed Learning Support Assistant to work with one of our fantastic partner schools in Manchester.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting Students: Work closely with students who have a range of learning needs, providing one-on-one and small group assistance.
  • Collaborating with Teachers: Help create and deliver personalized learning plans to ensure every student reaches their potential.
  • Promoting Inclusion: Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Tracking Progress: Monitor and report on student progress, celebrating successes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Encouraging Independence: Empower students to develop confidence and self-reliance in their learning journey.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus, but we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn just as much!
  • Skills: Strong communication, patience, and a nurturing attitude are essential. Knowledge of special educational needs (SEN) is a plus.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable and ready to take on different challenges as they come.
  • Commitment: A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their best.

Teaching Personnel is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants will undergo enhanced DBS checks and other necessary vetting procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
