Teaching Personnel is collaborating closely with a secondary school in the Gosport area to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. If you are passionate about helping every student reach their full potential, you could be the ideal candidate for this role.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an essential role in this mission by offering one-on-one and small group support to students with various Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Cognition and Learning, Communication and Interaction, Physical and Sensory Needs, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND.
  • Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Supporting classroom teachers in managing student behaviour and engagement.
  • Promoting the social and emotional well-being of students.
  • Ensuring the safety and welfare of students at all times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
