Job Description:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their educational journey. Your main responsibilities will include providing assistance to students with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.

Required Qualifications:

GCSE Maths, GCSE English

Education:

Minimum of GCSE level education

Experience:

Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to think quickly on your feet

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be advantageous, as well as any Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 qualificartion. 

Working Conditions:

You will work in a school environment, collaborating with teachers and other support staff. The role may involve working one-on-one with students or in small groups. Flexibility and adaptability are key in this dynamic role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
