Job description

Are you a Learning Support Assistant looking for an exciting and challenging role in a south East London primary school?

Are you able to engage and motivate children with their learning?

One of our partnership schools in Dulwich are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team for the new academic year!

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Support the class teacher in creative and engaging lessons.
  • Act as a good role model for students and encourage expected behaviour.
  • Promote independence of pupils and encourage them to reach their full potential.
  • Support in the assessment of pupils learning and development.

The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have:

  • Experience working in a primary school setting working with children who have additional needs
  • Adaptability and flexibility within their role to different situations or needs.
  • Lots of patience and good de-escalation techniques

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
