Learning Support Assistant - Croydon

Are you seeking a full-time position in a primary schoolr?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Croydon.
You will provide support to children within Key Stage 2, delivering daily interventions and offering general classroom support.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with working hours from 08:30 to 15:45.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored learning activities and provide support to help students achieve their targets and progress
• Motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Collaborate with the Class Teacher and school SENCo to provide the best support for students
• Assist the Class Teacher in managing student behaviour
• Create engaging classroom displays and assist with preparing learning resources

Requirements:

• A Child Workforce DBS on update service or willingness to apply for a new one
• Recent experience working with students who have English as an additional language
• A proactive, hardworking, and committed mindset

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
