Learning Support Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel are looking for passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join one of our partnership SEN schools in South Manchester.
The school caters for children aged 4-25 with a variety of complex and severe learning needs including Autism, Physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.
In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in the delivery of creative and engaging lessons.
- Support children on a 1:1 and small group basis.
- Engage with children and help them to reach their full potential.
- Support in the assessment of children’s learning and development.
- The opportunity to secure a permanent position within school
The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Lots of patience and a calm personality
- Bundles of enthusiasm!
- Good knowledge of safeguarding practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full time availability within school hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
