An esteemed primary school in Greenwich, proudly rated as GOOD by Ofsted, is excited to announce an An Ofsted rated GOOD primary school located in the heart of South East London is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join their permanent staff list from September 2024. The school prides itself on fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Role and Responsibilities

The EYFS Teacher will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of young learners.
  • Creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and development.
  • Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each child achieves their potential.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of children.
  • Contributing to the school's ethos and values, promoting a positive and inclusive culture.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent EYFS teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to nurturing young minds.
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider school community.
