Job description

We are looking for tutors able to provide face to face tuition for vulnerable pupils in Towcester and the surrounding areas. We are looking for a tutor who can support for a minimum of 5/10 hours per week (flexible) with a view to increase if needed.

As a 1:1 LAC tutor you will need to plan, develop and provide individualised programmes for students.

The role of a LAC Tutor:

  • Providing 1:1 support in core subjects (Maths, English or Primary)
  • Planning individualised programmes of learning
  • Tutoring within the home environment
  • Work with varied ages and abilities
  • Support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Full time & part time hours available

What you will need to be considered for the LAC Tutor role:

  • A Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent
  • Experience with primary or secondary aged children (minimum of two years)
  • Enthusiastic, engaging & friendly.
  • Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Knowledge of the UK educational system and curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
