Job Title: KS3 Tutor

Location: England, Greater London, Romford

Job Description:

Job Duties:

The KS3 English and Maths SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs in English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level. Duties will include creating individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other education professionals to ensure students' academic success.

Required Qualifications:

- A relevant teaching qualification

- Experience working with students with special educational needs

- Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum

Education:

A degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching KS3 English and Maths to students with special educational needs

Knowledge and Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary position requiring full-time hours. The tutor will work closely with students in a home setting, as well as liaise with parents and other education professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
