KS3 Tutor
Location: Nottingham (NG3)
Job Description
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions to Key Stage 3 students
- Assess students' learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Provide feedback to students and parents on progress and areas for improvement
- Create and implement lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
- Support students in developing their academic skills and confidence
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Education or a related field
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring Key Stage 3 students
- Demonstrated track record of improving student performance
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 3 curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Organisational skills and the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
