Job Description:
As a KS3 English and Maths Tutor based in Manningtree, Essex, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tutoring sessions to Key Stage 3 students in English and Maths. Your main focus will be on supporting students to improve their understanding and skills in these subjects.
Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive tutoring sessions in English and Maths for Key Stage 3 students
- Assess students' learning needs and develop tailored teaching strategies
- Provide constructive feedback to students to aid their academic progress
- Monitor and track student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 curriculum in English and Maths
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
- Demonstrated experience in delivering effective tutoring or teaching in English and Maths
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
