Job Title: English, Maths and Science KS3 Tutor

Location:

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide tutoring in English, Maths, and Science subjects for Key Stage 3 students.
  • Develop tailored lesson plans and teaching materials to meet individual student needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • Help students improve their understanding and academic performance in the specified subjects.

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Education or a related subject.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).

Education:

Degree in Education or related subject

Experience:

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching Key Stage 3 students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the English, Maths, and Science curriculum for Key Stage 3.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
  • Additional certifications in specific subject areas.

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule.
  • Work with students in a classroom or home one-on-one setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
