Job Duties:
The English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to Key Stage 3 students with special educational needs. Duties include developing individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents/guardians.
Required Qualifications:
A relevant teaching qualification, experience working with SEN students, and a strong understanding of the KS3 curriculum are essential for this role.
Education:
A degree in Education or a related field is required.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to SEN students at the KS3 level.
Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated knowledge of SEN teaching strategies, excellent communication skills, ability to differentiate instruction, and proficiency in assessing and tracking student progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional qualifications in Special Education Needs (SEN) or experience working with students with specific learning difficulties would be advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, with the potential for flexible scheduling. The tutor will primarily work in an educational setting, providing support to students with SEN in English and Maths.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
