Job Description

Job Duties:

• Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Develop individualised lesson plans based on students' specific learning requirements
• Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students' academic growth
• Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to engage students and enhance learning outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialist knowledge in SEN education
• Experience in delivering English and Maths curriculum to Key Stage 3 students

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN
• Demonstrated success in improving students' academic performance

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of SEN teaching strategies and methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet individual student needs
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Working Conditions:

• Work in a home environment
• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
• Potential for remote or online tutoring

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
