Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor

£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans
- Assess students' learning progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Provide constructive feedback to students and their parents/guardians
- Collaborate with school staff to support students' academic development
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths to students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to differentiate teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional qualifications in Special Education or SEN teaching
- Experience using assistive technology in teaching
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, primarily within a school or learners home. The tutor may need to adapt to individual student needs and collaborate closely with school staff and parents/guardians.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
