Job Title: Maths and English KS3 SEN 1:1 Tutor

£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring in Maths and English to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate with parents, teachers, and other professionals regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEN students
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 Maths and English curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN strategies and best practises
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in SEN education
- Experience working in a one-on-one tutoring setting
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily in a classroom or home tutoring environment
- May require travel to student's homes or other locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
