Job description

Job Title: KS3 English and Maths Outreach Tutor

Location: England, Greater London, Enfield

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive English and Maths lessons to KS3 students
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students in need of extra help
  • Create tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student success

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Education, English, Maths, or related field
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with KS3 students

Education:

  • Degree in Education, English, Maths, or related field

Experience:

  • Experience working with KS3 students
  • Experience in delivering tailored academic support

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Organisational skills to manage individual learning plans

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Additional teaching certifications

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule
  • Temporary position with the potential for extension

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
