Role: Year 3 Teacher – QTS 

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Reading

MPS/UPS

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in the Reading area to recruit for a Year 3 teacher for an ASAP start date.

This role as a Year 3 Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in Reading involves delivering lessons to a class of up to 30 children, including some with SEN (Special Educational Needs). Your responsibilities would likely include:

  1. Planning and Delivering Lessons: Designing engaging and appropriate lessons tailored to Year 3 children, covering the national curriculum.
  2. Supporting SEN Students: Ensuring individual needs of SEN students are met, possibly with personalized learning plans or adjustments to the lesson structure.
  3. Classroom Management: Managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
  4. Assessing Student Progress: Monitoring students' progress through both formative and summative assessments and providing feedback.
  5. Collaboration: Working with teaching assistants, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and other staff to ensure students are supported holistically.

This role is opened to experience teachers and those who are willing to get stuck into the learning of children within an education setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
