Teaching Personnel are working closely with a primary school in the M24 who are seeking to recruit a KS2 teacher due to scheduled staff absences. This will be a full-time position, 8.30-3.30 Mondy-Friday, starting immediately for the rest of the 2024 academic year.

As a KS2 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons that meet the needs of KS2 students and align with the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate
  • Differentiating instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of your students
  • Assessing student progress through various formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development
  • Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community
  • Participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the school community

Requirements for the role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience teaching KS2 students preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
  • Up-to-date DBS on the Update Service – or be willing to get one through Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
