A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Blackpool, rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 teacher to join their permanent teaching staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious early-career teacher (ECT) looking for a supportive and dynamic team to grow within. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to KS2 pupils, inspiring them to thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all students
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with the school’s policies
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school’s ethos and vision
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Proven experience or strong understanding of teaching KS2 pupils
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- A proactive approach to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Willingness to engage with the wider school community and contribute to extracurricular activities
Desirable:
- Experience working within a diverse and multicultural school setting
- Knowledge of current educational initiatives and strategies
