Job Title: KS2 ECT

Job Duties:

The KS2 ECT will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Key Stage 2 students. Duties include planning and preparing lessons, assessing student progress, providing feedback to students and parents, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

A valid teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Education:

A degree in Education or a related field.

Experience:

No prior teaching experience is required, but experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students, and a passion for education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training or certification in special education needs (SEN) or English as a Second Language (ESL) is advantageous.

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a classroom setting within a primary school. The KS2 ECT may be required to attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions outside of regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
