Position: KS1 Teacher

As a KS1 teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our young learners.

Job Description:

As a KS1 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons that meet the needs of KS1 students and align with the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate
  • Differentiating instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of your students
  • Assessing student progress through various formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development
  • Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community
  • Participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the school community

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Experience teaching KS1 students preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
