Job Description:

As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 1 and Year 2 pupils. You will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students, ensuring they develop a strong foundation in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills. Your creativity and enthusiasm will help create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development and well-being.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to embrace new teaching strategies.
