Job Title: KS1 Learning Support Assistant

Location:

England, Greater London, Elephant & Castle

Job Type:

Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£90 - £110 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Provide support and assistance to Key Stage 1 (KS1) students in their learning activities
  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing educational programmes and activities
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the overall educational development and progress of students

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with children in an educational environment

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum and teaching methods
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school setting with young children
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
