We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Hartlepool (TS25) for a temporary assignment, teaching a KS1 class. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on young learners and is committed to an educational environment.

Position: KS1 Class Teacher
Location: Hartlepool (TS25)
Contract Type: Temporary for 1 term initially
Start Date: November 2024

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, creative, and effective lessons that meet the educational needs of students in KS1
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning requirements
  • Implement and maintain classroom management techniques that foster a safe and productive learning environment
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians to update them on student progress and development
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and contribute to the school community through participation in events and activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within the UK
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally with specific experience in Year 2
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching methodologies
  • Excellent organisational and communicative skills
  • Ability to commit to the duration of the temporary contract
  • An updated Enhanced DBS check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
