Teaching Personnel are recruiting 1 Full-Time Teaching Assistant on behalf of one of our partner schools in the CF37 area. This role is for to work closely with all pupils in mainstream education, with some dedicated time pupils with additional learning needs (ALN) across Key Stages 1 & 2. Working as general classroom support which will entail providing small-group interventions to pupils with additional learning needs including Autism, ADHD & Dyslexia.

Responsibilities:

• Assist class teachers with their daily needs, including student support, classroom/ behaviour management, and lesson preparation.
• Provide 1:1 support to students who may require additional support with their academic and/or social development.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, supported and listened to.
• Contribute to whole-school ethos and participate in team meetings and trainings.

Requirements:

• Previous LSA experience in desirable but not essential, other forms of childcare are also desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team alongside your assigned class teacher.
• Patience, empathy and a desire to enhance the educational experience of every child you encounter.
• A current Enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the DBS Update Service.
• Annual registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
