Key Stage 1 Teacher

Location: Hayle, Cornwall

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Start Date: January 2024

 

Role Overview: As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Years 1 and 2. You will create a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning, while also supporting the individual needs of your students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help each child achieve their potential.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
  • Participate in school events and contribute to the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for fostering a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
