KS1 Teacher 

Are you a dedicated and inspiring Key Stage 1 Teacher ready to make a difference? We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled educator to join our supportive team. In this pivotal role, you’ll shape the educational journey of young learners aged 5–7, igniting their potential and fostering a love for learning.

Location: Grimsby, Lincolnshire
Salary: £120–£135 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday


About the Role

As our network of partner schools expands, we are urgently seeking talented primary specialists to provide flexible, short-term supply cover, typically for 3–5 days per week. You’ll be a vital part of the team, adhering to each school’s policies, marking pupils’ work, and leaving clear handover notes for the Class Teacher.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Qualified Professional: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience teaching in primary schools, particularly KS1.
  • Raise Standards: Be hardworking, organised, and committed to driving educational excellence.
  • Classroom Leadership: Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Curriculum Expertise: Deliver captivating lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum, inspiring curiosity and achievement.
  • Ambitious Goals: Set high expectations to empower children to reach their full potential.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with Teaching Assistants to enhance classroom learning and support all pupils.
  • Assessment for Progress: Employ a variety of assessment strategies to track and celebrate student progress, adapting your teaching accordingly.
  • Community Spirit: Embrace the school’s ethos and actively contribute to its welcoming community, building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Safeguarding First: Maintain an in-depth understanding of safeguarding practices, ensuring a safe environment for all pupils.
  • DBS Compliance: Hold a valid DBS certificate registered on the update service.
